I started my Pilates journey in 2000, when true to Joseph H. Pilates words; ‘In ten sessions I did feel the difference.…..’.
Always an active soul, Eventing (riding) and Kick Boxing to a high level in my youth, I was aware that my ‘core’ was my weakness. I took up Pilates in 2000 and weekly training has made me stronger and more balanced, enabling me to enjoy sport and life more.
I completed Alan Herdman’s Pilates Teacher Training in 2011 and since then I have been teaching and training.
Further courses include Anatomy Trains 1 & 2 with Michael Watson, Anatomy Trains in Motion, Karin Locher CPM and Balanced Body courses with Karen Clippinger, Madeline Black and Julian Littleford. Further to this I have been training with Stephanie since 2013 and continue to do a wide range of sports from riding through to skiing, I have however given the Kick Boxing up!
I am a mother of three and I have a BEng from Nottingham University.
